Suzanne Rainey, Principal
Suzanne Rainey is a digital communications specialist and has worked with small and large organizations and federal agencies to guide strategic decision-making for websites and social media for over fifteen years. Beginning in the late 90s, Suzanne worked for Forum One Communications, a Washington, DC-based digital agency, where she worked with organizations including InterAction, Save the Children, the World Bank, USAID, Winrock International, and Refugees International. She led teams of website developers, designers, and information architects to plan, design, and build effective websites and accompanying communications strategies to extend their influence. Beginning in 2012, Suzanne worked for Aquilent, Inc., a leading agency in mobile and digital strategy and web content management for the federal government. She successfully led several projects for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration including reorganization of significant content for sections of the website and the design of the agency’s first mobile website. Recently, Suzanne was the program manager for a large project that plans, builds, and maintains a large portfolio of websites for the Assistant Secretary of Political Affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Suzanne has a degree in English Literature and International Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, and spent two years teaching English in rural Poland with the U.S. Peace Corps. She worked in the mid-nineties for Arthur Andersen and KPMG Peat Marwick, managing logistics and teams for USAID-funded fiscal development programs based in Russia, Eastern Europe, and the Philippines.
