Xenia Orona is a Chicana and native-born Arizonan. Xenia spent most of her summers in Northern Mexico and has been deeply influenced by her family’s cross-border experience. Her first campaign was knocking doors to get rid of the author of Arizona’s “Show Me Your Papers” law and she’s never looked back.
Reinvigorated by the 2016 election, Xenia has made a career out of working for her community and moving people towards action using her web, graphic design, and video editing skills. She gets a special thrill from seeing her digital works in the real world and hopes to have a gallery in the near future.
Xenia co-owns SUN Digital and co-founded Fuerte Arts Movement with Dom Medina. Both progressive digital media groups work to move the needle toward justice in Arizona and beyond.
